50 Stories

(Photo Source: visionsfcu.org/images/50_Member_Stories_Logo_1-16) Well it has been 50 stories. I was not sure what would happen when I started this blog in 2013. I just wanted a place where I could write stories and save them, plus have some people to read. So far I have been able to write many exciting and sometimes sad stories and the number of readership has really impressed me. As I am writing now I have had as many as 1300 viewers and readers who have gone through my stories. My biggest reader base has been in Kenya and the United States. However I have had people as far as Chile, Romania, Germany, Russia, France, Ukraine, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, The United Kingdom and Poland going through my stories. I am truly thankful. I also appreciate my friends Linda and George who have supported me and challenged me to write these stories. I am also thankful to one of my former lecturers, Dr. Larry Ndivo, who encouraged me to start a blog  and put my stories. The s

My Replacemennt

(Photo Source: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com) I didn't know how I was going to react. I felt cheated, betrayed, annoyed, full of hate, I was ready to murder someone. "Why? Why is this happening to me? After all this time? What will happen to my daughter? How can another man just come in and take over?" I felt like I was not man enough; another man had to come do my job. Rose had called me the day before and she asked that I meet the man she will be marrying the next month. She said it was important because he will be the one who will be helping her take care of my little princess Nelly. She wanted to make sure I was cool with it, and to make things simpler she would also come along with my daughter. I did not know how to react. What man would want to meet his rival. My thought began flowing on the fact that she was cheating on me before the divorce. This man she was bringing was probably responsible for it. He gave her something I couldn't. The worst tho

How is the baby doing?" ""The baby is doing fine Dr. Gatanga." "Good, that is good to hear. When are you going to bring your husband to finalize the adoption?" "Wait a minute, doctor did you just say adoption?" Gerald becomes completely shocked. "What adoption are you talking about? Is that not my child?" "Ahh, so you must be Gerald. My name is Dr. Gatanga. Unfortunately your child died, and Milly here came to us to adopt a child of similar age to her first one." Outwardly surprised. "Milly had told me the both of you had talked about it and that you were ready for adoption." "Milly what is this doctor talking about?" The room fell silent as everybody turned to Milly. "Well...I....&quo

"What happened my son?" "I was leaving somewhere entering the main road and did not see the oncoming lorry. It hit me in the rear end, crushing my legs. I have just been told they had to amputate them." "Sorry, so sorry about that. It would seem we came at a wrong time. Let us go Mama Sally." "No please, we need to talk, sir." "Are you sure?" "Yes please have a seat." Sally's father takes a seat while his wife stands, still shocked. She starts crying. "Please madam, don't; let us thank God I am alive." Sally's father goes to her, takes her into his arms and makes her sit. "Relax dear, we need to know what is wrong with our children. Calm down Ma

"Asante sana daktari. I have been thanking God since I woke up." Gerald had left Milly's house and stood outside for about five minutes. He heard Milly calling her girlfriend and then decided to leave. "Kuwa na usiku njema boss" imploded the guard as Gerald passed to go on to the main road. However he was so deep in his thoughts he did not hear the horn. He didn't hear the shouts to stop. He didn't hear anything. He only realized he had been in an accident because of the wailing of the sirens. The same sirens that had brought Sally to the same hospital. He laid in his bed and continued in his thoughts. It was at this time his phone rang. Sally's mom. "Hallo?" "Where are you Gerald?" "I am in hospital mad

"You know Milly as your friend, I need to warn you that the truth always come out.: "Gerald will never know that the child I have is not his. The only people who know this is not my child is you and the three doctors I paid. So be careful Jane. I hope you are not threatening me." "Girl you know me better than that. I am just watching out for you. You know I love you girl." "Yes... yes..." The doorbell rings. "I am goign to have to talk to you later. Someone's at the door." "Sawa, good day girl. Talk to you later. Mwah." The door bell sounds again. "Hold on I am coming." She opens the door slowly. "Hi honey. Welcome back." "Halo Milly." Gerald pushes past her and goes to the s

(Picture source: imgc.allpostersimages.com) "Sally? Sally? Sally wake up." "What is it Gerald?" "It is time we started leaving. The park is closing." Gerald and Sally were on a nature trail. They had decided to visit the park on their second date. "Sally, you awake?" Gerald tries tickling her. She wakes up laughing. "Yes, yes I am awake. Aki wewe. Let me just pick up my things we leave?" "Things, what things? You only came in with your purse. (Sarcastically) Are you alright?" "Yes  I am. I just wanted to waste some time here." "The park will close and you want to spend the night here?" Gerald looks at her as if he is shocked. "Why not?" He spells it out for her. "W-I-L-D A-N-I-M-A-L-S! Or we may be mistaken as poachers! Duh!" "OK. OK." They both stand up holding hands and start walking to the gate. "I had fun by

(all photos taken from google.co.ke) (www.clipartbest.com) Gerald is seated sipping his drink slowly. He is admiring the house, trying to remember the many graceful memories he has had the past two year. However, it is time to call it quits. He has to move on, somehow. Sally comes in and seats besides him and notices something is off. “What is wrong Gerald?” Gerald breathes in and out. He picks up three papers from the table and hands them to Sally. “We need to talk Sally.” He looks at her trying to be as gentle as possible. “I am sorry Sally. It is over between us. I need to go take care of my baby.” There is a brief pause. “Ati, what? What did you just say Gerald? Am hearing you right? You want to leave me? Why?” Gerald can see she is becoming hysterical. He was not sure how to break it to her, but he felt telling it to her face would have been easier, how wrong he was. “It’s Milly. She was pregnant when I left her and now she has my son; one year old
